Launched in 1999, by publishers Marvin Scott Jarrett , Jaclynn Jarrett, Mark Blackwell, as well as supermodel Helena Christensen as a creative director(no longer involved), the magazine focuses its attention on two cities : NYC -London, which perfectly matched the name of the magazine “NYLON”

The first guest of the issue in 1999 was the model/actress – Liv Tyler, interviewed and photographed by Helena Christensen herself.

Since then numerous celebs graced the cover of this magazine including, Christina Aguilera, Lily Allen, Paris Hilton, The Kills, Camilla Belle, Mary-Kate Olsen, Scarlett Johansson, Christina Ricci, Leighton Meester, Sienna Miller, Megan Fox, Lindsay Lohan, Zoe Saldana, Drew Barrymore to name a few.

The photoshoot for this magazine was photographed by NYC based talented photographer – Jamie Nelson (http://www.jamienelson.com/), who also often collaborates with such issues as “ELLE” “GLAMOUR” “GRAZIA” “VANITY FAIR” “VOGUE”.
