It isn’t just any Android phone, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It’s one of the few phones to be given the privilege of championing the Android platform on behalf of Google itself.
As such, it’ll feature some monstrous specs. It has a huge 4.65-inch high definition Super AMOLED display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The phone also contains a 5-megapixel camera that’s capable of full HD 1080p video recording, and will be the first phone to run on the new Ice Cream Sandwich iteration of Android.

Vodafone has listed the Samsung Galaxy Nexus as ‘Coming soon’ on its website, which means you can now register for updates on the phone’s availability. Samsung has confirmed that the handset will be available from November 17 in Europe, so expect Vodafone to be launching on or around that date.
While details on the contract offers aren’t present just yet, one thing you can guarantee is that you’ll be able to take advantage of Vodafone’s Data Test Drive scheme when you sign up for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. This will let you go mad with your data usage for three whole months without penalty.
