Biography :

Love Movement was formed in July of 2009 by Marina H who a month and a half earlier had packed her whole life out West in 2 suitcases and decided to settle in Montreal. Previously Marina had been in limbo between several cities working as a back up dancer/go-go dancer/promotional model and decided it was time for make her message of REALISM. LOVE. and TALENT be known, in the industry that tends to be anything BUT these elements. Montreal is the perfect city with its diverse culture and setting, it breaks the barrier in class, style, and excitement - the perfect city to begin the movement.

She began casting dancers to begin the project of spreading love through disco. In no time she had 2 principal dancers with various back-ups forming her crew Love Movement. All girls at 5"2 and exotic, its without a doubt that everywhere these little sirens are dancing they hypnotize the room. High energy, sexy. and creative, the moves they use are a dance fusion something Marina describes as "mystery mash-up." It combines voguing, whakking, house, latin, bollywood, reggae, RNB, and Hip Hop, where the girls can be choreographed, but most times free style where they are syncing off of Marina. Its a really interesting thing to see go-go dancers do - spectators agree.

Love Movement's principal fashion dancers go by the names of Arete and Raquel Pearle B who both come from extensive diversified dance backgrounds with Raquel doubling also a songstress. These young beauties are Marina's heart and soul and there cannot be one without the other. Both very talented, high energy and good role models in society. This is what Marina looks for in her Love Movement. We aren't just dancers - we have purpose, we are making a point in the nightlife/entertainment industry, which is used to dishonesty amongst the half naked, drugged up dancers who cannot be called dancers at all. They want people to wake up and get real. They want people to quit performing fake in the nightlife, and in every day-to-day life. Its time for everyone to unite and have real fun together without the drugs, without the drama. Look at the Love Movement Fashion Dancers - a Muslim, Jew, and Christian, all dancing together in the house of the devil as religions teach us. We want people to forget about barriers, forget about judgments. Its time for people the REALLY have fun - and after watching these girls perform I agree that they really can show you how!!

Marina and the Fashion Dancers have getting busy creating their callibur of glam and fun by creating their own events. Their first series that launched it's first event last month @ Moomba Supperclub, was a HUGE success; They were joined with Toronto Fashion Designer Joy Couture, Montreal's own Dj's Stevie V and Troy Carter, mixed together shaken not stirred to glam perfection. They continue to orchestrate many upcomng "Love & Disco" events. Watch for these memorable and glamorous parties throughout Quebec this summer. Along with the Love and Disco event series they have also been busy providing back-ups for local artists, along with shooting music videos, where they wrapped up with Paul Lizzi for his first single "Drum Luvin" this past Sunday. They will also be departing this summer for their very first tour with Dubai singer Ghazal for her North American shows. Traveling to destinations such as New York, California, and Vancouver these fashion dancers will make for some seriously fierce back-ups for Ghazal and her talented team.

The work load never ends for these vixens as they all are very passionate that they are doing what they LOVE. In the future they are working to collaborate with their own Raquel Pearl B to make music that will have positive messages infused with a sexy electronic vibe. If the girls are not dancing they are promoting a positive image for everyone everywhere!
